TUCSON, Ariz. — Dozens of people filled the room at the Fountain of Life Lutheran Church on Wednesday night for a mayoral forum.

The meeting was to hear from the candidates running to be Tucson's Mayor.

All declared candidates were invited, but the four who participated in the forum Wednesday night are Ed Ackerly, Randi Dorman, Steve Farley, and Regina Romero.

Each of them answered questions from people who live in eastside neighborhoods.

On man talked about the candidates after hearing from them.

Marty Medvec eastside mayoral forum attendee says "I thought they all tried to present themselves in their own way with their background and experience, it's going to be one of those things where you're going to have to see who is going to do the job, you know. Who really comes out and says what they're going to really do. I mean a lot of people say i'm gonna do something, but they don't really do it."

The primary election is scheduled for August 27, 2019 and the general election for November 5.
