UPDATE (11:08 a.m.):
ADOT says a man died in the crash on eastbound Interstate 10 this morning. They say a motorcyclist struck the back of a commercial vehicle on Interstate 10 at Speedway. The motorcyclist, a 21-year-old male, fell from his motorcycle, and a vehicle behind him struck the motorcycle and possibly the rider. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

ADOT says eastbound Interstate 10 has reopened, but there is still residual backup that "will take a while to clear out."

Eastbound Interstate 10 is closed at Speedway Boulevard due to a crash, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
All traffic is being diverted off the highway at Speedway.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety says it's a serious collision involving three vehicles.
There is no estimated reopening time, but DPS says it will likely be closed throughout the morning.
Drivers are asked to find alternate routes.
