TUCSON, Ariz. - Earth day will be recognized on Monday as a way to promote taking care of the environment.
The Earth day festival at the Children's Museum gave families an interactive way to learn the importance of conservation.
Visitors learned about recycling, composting, gardening, and getting out and enjoying nature.
Children's Museum Director Michael Luria says, today's event had a big turn out and kids shared their excitement about taking care of the earth.
Luria says, it's exciting to offer a program like earth day, and see kids light up as they experience something new.
