To prepare for its grand opening Tuesday, Dutch Bros Coffee is implementing a traffic and parking plan around its location at 120 South Wilmot.

In a press release, Dutch Bros Coffee said starting at 5 a.m. traffic cones will direct customers to enter the location from Park Place. Drivers will then be directed to gather in the parking lot behind LA Fitness, before the broistas signal them to move on to the location via a side access road.

In an effort to increase safety, Dutch Bros Coffee said they hired a private company to help direct traffic. Dutch Bros Coffee is also working with the city to make sure all customers and drivers are safe.

“The Tucson community has already been so welcoming,” said Jordan Gonsalves, operator of Dutch Bros Tucson. “Since our soft opening a few days ago, thousands of people have already come through to enjoy a drink and say hi.”

Customers are encouraged to come to the grand opening during low traffic hours, such as early and mid-morning.

Dutch Bros Coffee is offering free drinks during the grand opening. For more information, visit KGUN 9's previous story
