Drexel Heights Fire holds babysitting classes

Drexel Heights Fire District held its first babysitting training class of this summer Tuesday morning.

This two-day training has been offered for the past 13 years. 

Participants are between the ages of 12 and 16 and are trained in child care, poison prevention, and fire and kitchen safety. 

The training also includes training in infant, child, and adult CPR and the use of AED's and First Aid. 

There are two other training sessions available, June 21-22 and July 12-13.
