Douglas Unified meeting about football violations

The Douglas Unified School District Board of Education is having a special meeting on Wednesday to talk about the Douglas High School football team.

The team had to forfeit all of its season wins earlier this month because of Arizona Interscholastic Association (AIA) rules violations.

The Douglas Dispatch reports violations involving improper paperwork for players who transferred to the school.

The board meeting starts at 5:30 p.m. in the DUSD Central Administration Building Board Room. It is open to the public and there will be time available for people to make comments.
