Two women were arrested at the Raul Hector Castro Port in Douglas after CBP officers found $142K worth of marijuana in their vehicles.
According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection, a narcotics canine was alerted to the 29-year-old woman's Chrysler van which contained over 90 pounds of marijuana in the dash.
Hours later a canine alerted officers to find 195 pounds of marijuana hidden in the interior of a 22-year-old woman's Nissan sedan.
The drugs and vehicles were seized, and the women were turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations.
