TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) -- Governor Doug Ducey is criticizing comments made by California Governor Jerry Brown about Arizona's gun laws.
The Los Angeles Times reports Brown said Nevada and Arizona's loose gun laws are a "gigantic backdoor through which any terrorist can walk."
Brown was responding to California lawmakers who called for tightening the state's gun laws.
Ducey issued a statement Saturday saying "all of Arizona mourns for the victims in California. Not only will we be ignoring Governor Brown's advice, but I call on him to retract his incredibly thoughtless and ill-advised comments."
