TUCSON, Ariz. — Documents reveal information about a shooting involving two University of Arizona athletes last year.
Police reports obtained by KGUN9 reveal two members of the Track and Field team were involved.
It happened at a house party hosted by one of the team's high jumpers.
In reports Lillian Lowe said people she didn't know started showing up to her party.
Police say Zakee Washington a sprinter on the team was watching the door to make sure no strangers came into the party.
Washington told police he kept a group of people from entering the home and they started shooting.
Washington was shot in the thigh and lower back.
A 16-year-old girl who was not named in the report was also shot in the foot.
