Just a few months after American Airlines launched nonstop flights from Tucson International Airport to John F. Kennedy Airport in New York City, the airline will make those flights seasonal only.
There will be no direct flights from TIA to JFK beginning May 5.
Direct flights will resume in December until April 2018 on a seasonal basis.
This comes after American Airlines reported a revenue dip of about 1% last month compared to December of 2015.
