Dozens of local restaurants are teaming up to raise awareness for survivors of sexual violence.

For its 22nd year, restaurants participating in, "Dine Out for Safety", will be donating up to 20% of its proceeds from breakfast, lunch and dinner to support survivors of sexual violence at the Southern Arizona Center Against Sexual Assault.

All day long people can get involved by picking their favorite restaurant or trying something new.

According to the Southern Arizona Center Against Sexual Assault, in nine months, 641 people called into the crisis hotline and a total of 1,696 survivors were served. An increase of 184 people from last year.

There will also be a raffle to raise more money to support survivors. To get involved, raffle tickets can be bought at any participating restaurant or can be bought online at http://www.sacasa.org/dine-out-for-safety/ .

The grand prize is a gift certificate to all participating Dine Out restaurants, which is over $750 in value.
