UPDATE (12:31 p.m.): According to a social media post from PCSD, the call was for reports of a 33-year-old man experiencing a mental health crisis while armed with a weapon.
A family member called 911 and told them that the man had fired a weapon inside of the home, the post said.
Deputies attempted to communicate with him through phone and text.
The man threw the weapon over the wall during the incident, the post said.
He was taken into custody at 11 a.m. and transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

Pima County Sheriff's deputies are working a call in the 12000 block of East Placita Rancho Soldados, off of North Soldier Trail, north of East Tanque Verde.
According to PCSD, there is a large deputy presence in the neighborhood.
