Two deputies in Los Angeles helped a woman in a wheelchair return home after receiving a call that she was stranded.

According to a Facebook post from the Lancaster Sheriff's Station, Deputies Chapman and Montanez responded to the call and found the woman on the side of the road.

The deputies offered her a ride home, but she refused because she did not want to leave her wheelchair behind.

That's when Deputy Montanez stepped up. He decided he would push the wheelchair to her home, about one mile, in full uniform and boots. Deputy Chapman teased him about his "slow" pace and you can hear our eldelry friend getting a good laugh out of it, the Facebook post said.
