Robber steals money and employee's car

PIMA COUNTY, Ariz. (KGUN9-TV) - Pima County Sheriff's Department is looking for a man after he robbed a Subway and stole one of the employees cars.

On Dec. 9, San Xavier District Deputies responded to a robbery at a Subway restaurant located at 3760 S. Palo Verde Rd.

PCSD said a man walked in to the Subway, placed an order and then went to the restroom. He returned after awhile to pay his bill but he tried to use an expired debit card.

When the employee questioned him about his expired card, the suspect demanded the employee's car keys and money from the register.

The suspect implied that he had a weapon and then stole the employees vehicle which was later located by Tucson Police Department.

The suspect ran away and has not yet been located.

The suspect is a Hispanic man. He is 25-30-years-old and he was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black hooded sweatshirt and a red Chicago Bulls ski hat.

Anyone with information is asked to call 9-1-1 or 88-CRIME.
