No suspects, victims located in shooting

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Deputies with the Pima County Sheriff's Department are investigating a shooting on Tucson's far west side.

Deputy Ryan Inglett, Public Information Officer says they received a call about shots fired in the 8900 block of West Bopp Road, near San Joaquin and Bopp at 7:30 a.m.

Two vehicles are associated with the shooting, but no suspects or victims have been located. A rifle was located inside one of the vehicles and blood has been found in both vehicles, said Inglett. Both vehicles have "ghost plates," and authorities believe false information was given for registration.

Sgt. Jeff Bonds with the Pima County Sheriff's Department said this incident is possibly drug related and that is is an isolated incident. Bonds said their are no reported victims or suspects.

A man that lives at the Bopp Road address is being questioned by detectives, and is cooperating.
