Pima County Sheriff's deputies assisted Tucson police Wednesday morning in response to a southside home invasion. Police say men dressed as police officers broke into the home to steal drugs.

According to deputy Cody Gress, the invasion originated in the city limits and led to a sequence of events that ended up with victims needing deputies' help outside the city, in the county's jurisdiction.

Tucson police Sgt. Pete Dugan says the incident took place in the 1900 block of East Pine.

Police responded to a 911 call from a resident reporting a home invasion. Police found signs of forced entry into the home.

One of the victims is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
