Deputies need help locating cigarette thief

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Deputies need help from the public in locating an ice cream and cigarette thief.

Deputy Ryan Inglett, spokesperson with the Pima County Sheriff's Department says that on Nov.19, deputies responded to the Circle K located at 4990 North Oracle Road for the report of a theft.

When deputies arrived on scene, they learned a man has presented an ice cream to Circle K staff for purchase.

Inglett says that when the clerk went to scan the ice cream the man went behind the counter and filled a bag with assorted cartons of cigarettes, valued at approximately $240.

The man is described as a Caucasian man, 5’9”, thin build, last seen wearing a camouflage baseball hat, black stripped shirt and blue jeans.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call 9-1-1 or 88-CRIME.
