Deputies from the Pima County Sheriff's Department are asking for the public's assistance in locating a man who they say robbed a McDonald's at gunpoint.

On Monday, October 24, at 10:30 p.m. deputies responded to the McDonald's at 5335 South Palo Verde for a report of an armed robbery.

As deputies arrived, they learned that a male suspect pulled up to the drive-thru window, demanded money and took the cash register.

After speaking with witnesses and reviewing surveillance footage, detectives were able to determine the suspect pulled up to the drive-thru window in a light colored four door sedan.

Detectives say the man pointed a silver gun at the drive-thru employee before using the gun to smash the window.

The man then reached in through the shattered window and pulled out the entire cash drawer before fleeing the scene.

Deputies say the man is described as being Hispanic and in his 20's.

He was last seen wearing a black/red baseball hat, grey hooded sweatshirt, a light long-sleeve undershirt and was carrying a silver revolver.

Anyone with information is asked to call 9-1-1.
