Deputies are looking for a man suspected of robbing a US Bank inside a Safeway on Sunrise on October 18.

Upon arrival, deputies learned that a man approached the teller at US Bank and demanded money be placed in a plastic bag.

The teller placed an undisclosed amount of money in the bag and the suspect left.

Detectives learned that the suspect entered the Safeway at around 4:30 pm and wandered around the store for an hour before approaching the bank.

Witnesses say the suspect did not imply or show a weapon but spoke with a speech impediment and walked as if he had some physical disabilities.

Detectives believe this was an act after reviewing surveillance that showed the suspect did not behave that way before approaching the teller.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male who appears to be in his early 20's. He is between 5'8" and 5'10" and heavy set.

He was last seen wearing a black Arizona Diamondback baseball hat, a dark blue shirt, khaki shorts and sunglasses.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
