A bicyclist was taken to the hospital after getting struck by a car Monday afternoon.
The Pima County Sheriff's Department says it happened around 2:50 p.m. near Fort Lowell Road and Catalina Highway.
The bicyclist, an adult male has serious injuries.
According to deputies the driver involved initially left the scene, but they were able to track down the car and suspected driver.
The investigation is ongoing.
