The Pima County Sheriff's Department is investigating a carjacking that left a man with head injuries, according to Deputy Cody Gress.

Gress says the carjacking happened Thursday after an individual was on a property in the 8900 block of West Snyder Hill Road.

The individual was on the property visiting a homeowner when he was assaulted by two masked men, believed to be Hispanic.

Gress says the suspects stole the victim's truck, a Red 2007 Chevrolet double cab with black rims.

The victim was taken to the hospital for injuries to the head. Gress says his condition is unknown at this time.

Deputies do not have any motive or relationship between the victim or suspects established at this time.
