The Pima County Sheriff's Department is investigating a body found in the desert area of a residential neighborhood on Tucson's north side.
Deputy Ryan Inglett says the body of an adult male was located near Lambert and Shannon Road around 4 p.m.
The call came from a passerby in the neighborhood. There are a lot of homes in the area but they are spread out.
Authorities say the body was in the advanced stages of decomposition.
Investigators have not yet identified the person. Homicide detectives are on scene but that is standard when a body is found.
It is too early to tell if the death is heat related or has anything to do with the two bodies found Wednesday.
If you have any information call 9-1-1 or 88-CRIME.
