Deputies arrest two murder suspects in Sunday shooting

Pima County Sheriff's deputies arrested two men suspected of shooting a man to death Sunday.

Deputies arrested 20-year-old Ramon Duran-Avila and his cousin, 19-year-old Lizardo Duran-Rojas in connection with the shooting death of 45-year-old John Murray. Both face charges of first degree murder and weapons misconduct charges.

The incident happened at about 8:30 p.m. Sunday in the 4300 block of West Valencia Road. The crime is believed to be related to a 9 p.m. Sunday shooting in the 5000 block of West Tillery Road. The man who was shot in that instance is in stable condition.
