Deputies have arrested two men following a shooting on the southside Saturday morning, according to a news release from the Pima County Sheriff's Department.

PCSD says at 5:15 a.m. deputies responded to the 7000 block of South Westover Avenue for a report of a fight.

As deputies were responding to the area they learned that two men had been fighting, several gunshots were heard, and a vehicle had fled the area.

When deputies neared the area, they found the vehicle that was seen driving away from where the incident happened.

Deputies then stopped vehicle and immediately noticed evidence of a shooting.

PCSD says a female driver was transported to the hospital for injuries sustained during the shooting and two male passengers were detained for questioning.

Detectives responded to take over the investigation and learned that 26-year-old Stephen Romero-Valencia and 23-year-old Andrew Valencia were involved in the shooting.

Both men were arrested on charges of drive-by shooting, discharging a firearm at a residence, and aggravated assault.
