TPD investigating dead body found as a homicide

TUCSON, Ariz. — Tucson Police are investigating a suspicious death near the eastside.

TPD says, a woman found a body while she was walking along the wash near Broadway and Pantano. The woman was walking her dogs behind The Hilton on Broadway around 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Officers went to the scene and found the body in the Pantano Wash near 7600 East Broadway Boulevard.

Police have confirmed the victim is a man. Officials have not been able to identify the man.

Detectives did find signs of trauma to the body.

Police say, the autopsy results determine this was a homicide.

TPD are asking for the public to help identify the man.

Police have described the man as "lightskinned male, 55-65 years of age, standing 5’5 with a thin gray beard/goatee. He is possibly Asian with balding brown hair."

He was wearing a pink and blue short sleeved shirt, dark dress pants, and brown dress shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call 88-CRIME.
