TUCSON, Ariz. — This week is National Zoo Keeper week, in honor of that we went to Reid Park Zoo.
One of our own KGUN9 members with creative services, Gina took a trip to Reid Park Zoo to get a day in the life of our local wildlife ambassadors.
Josh Skattum Reid Park Zoo Keeper says "My favorite part of being a zookeeper is the the fact that my day is ever changing. Every day it's a different day. Zookeepers we wear a lot of different hats or we have a lot of different roles. A lot of us, we're animal behavior specialists, we're animal trainers, we do a lot of cleaning."
Temperatures are still hot, and animals at the zoo are finding ways to keep cool.
