Davis-Monthan Air Force Base was named 2018's top installation in the Air Force Thursday.
This is the second time in six years D-M has received this recognition from the Department of Defense.
According to D-M, the award includes a grant of $750,000 for enhancements of its choosing.
The 355th Fighter Wing Commander Col. Scott Campbell says this award was won because of his Airmen.
"It wasn’t the chiefs and commanders that won this award, it was the Airmen,” Campbell said. “This is all thanks to them.”
