PIMA COUNTY, Ariz. (KGUN9-TV) - The Pima County Department of Transportation has closed the southernmost eastbound lane on Valencia Road just east of Wilmot Road due to a sinkhole.
One eastbound lane remains open.
According to a media release, the lane closure will continue until crews can evaluate the storm drain and schedule repairs.
The area has been stabilized with sandbags.
A repair schedule will be determined with weather permitting.
