TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Crews with the Northwest Fire District responded to a cooking fire on Saturday morning.
Brian Keeley, spokesperson with Northwest Fire District says that crews responded to the 2400 block of W. Ternero Place, near Sunset and La Cholla.
Keeley says the homeowner was cooking when the fire started and put out the visible flames with a fire extinguisher.
When fire crews arrived on scene the thermal imager showed there was still an active fire in the attic area, said Keeley.
There is still no damage estimate.
