Crews from the Nogales Fire Department fought a fire in a recycling plant for hours on Friday.
Assistant Chief William Sanchez says the cause and origin of the fire is not known at this time.
Sanchez says 35 to 40 firefighters from Rio Rico, Green Valley and the Nogales Fire Departments were on scene. The U.S. Forest Service assisted as well.
The fire was contained after nearly 5 hours but crews worked to extinguish the remaining flames within their perimiter into the evening
Officials say no one was displaced and no one was injured from the fire.

This is about as close as I'll get for now. An officer at scene tells me one family displaced. Not fully contained yet. @kgun9 #nogales pic.twitter.com/xEQMJYi2aD
