A crash near the intersection of North Kolb Road and East Sunrise Drive has shut down westbound travel from east of the intersection.
Eastbound travel from Kolb is also shut down, according to a social media post from Pima County Sheriff's Department.
The initial call came in at just after 7:40 a.m., according to PCSD.
One person was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area and find alternate routes of travel.
