A midtown elementary school went on a soft lockdown Monday due to police activity in the area. The lockdown has since been lifted.
Cragin Elementary School, at 2945 N. Tucson Blvd., kept outsiders off campus as police investigate a nearby crime.
Tucson police Sgt. Pete Dugan said officers stopped to investigate a man and woman who were arguing. When officers ran a records check on them, both ran off on foot.
The man has a felony warrant for his arrest. Neither the man nor the woman are in custody.
