A coyote was spotted attempting to enter Douglas High School in Douglas on Thursday.
According to a social media post from Douglas Police Department, officers worked to encourage the animal to leave on its own.
It eventually made its way to a nearby brush area where animal control is currently trying to humanely capture the animal.
There is no threat to the public at this time, the post said, but community members are encouraged to stay away from the coyote.
