TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - A couple who live near a massage parlor suspected of being part of a prostitution ring is suing the city of Tucson and police.
The Arizona Daily Star reports that Christopher and Annemarie Rechlin filed the lawsuit in Pima County Superior Court last week.
The suit is seeking reimbursement for medical expenses for Annemarie Rechlin.
The couple says they have complained about prostitution activity at the property since May 2014.
They say police told them to photograph anything suspicious.
In November 2014, Annemarie Rechlin says she took pictures of vehicles and parlor owner Ulises Ruiz allegedly struck her in the shoulder with a baseball bat.
A city spokesman was not immediately available to comment Saturday.
But arbitration between the Rechlins and the city is expected to take place.
