PHOENIX (AP) - A Phoenix couple is accused of forcing a Mexican day laborer into sex at gunpoint and filming the encounter to blackmail him.

Court documents show 45-year-old Jorge Murrieta-Valenzue and 39-year-old Brenda Acuna-Aguero were arrested earlier this month on suspicion of sexual assault and unlawful recording.

Murrieta-Valenzue faces additional charges including kidnapping and sexual extortion.

According to a probable cause statement, the pair found the victim outside a Home Depot on April 8 and took him home. Police say Acuna-Aguero and the victim had consensual sex, which Murrieta-Valenzue filmed without the victim's knowledge.

He then wielded a rifle to make the victim have intercourse with his wife again.

They took his visa and Mexico-issued driver's license and threatened to send pictures to his wife.

Neither suspect has been assigned an attorney.
