Pima County will appeal a court ruling that voided its county with space tourism company World View Enterprises.
In a 3-2 vote Tuesday, the Pima County Board of Supervisors decided to appeal the Feb. 2 Pima County Superior Court decision to nullify the contract, which would require taxpayers to pay for the company's facility near Tucson.
Judge Catherine Woods has struck down the contract. The county was required to have the building appraised, hold a public auction and adhere to other requirements.
