The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office is searching for a jail inmate who walked away from his work assignment in Glendale.
They say inmate Andrew Johnson left the area of 59th and Olive avenues around 11:30 a.m. Thursday.
Sheriff's officials say they're working with other law enforcement agencies to locate Johnson.
The 31-year-old Johnson was booked into jail last November on one count each of shoplifting and dangerous drug possession and use.
Sheriff's officials say inmates on work detail are classified as low risk and have non-violent charges.
