A Pima County Corrections Officer was sentenced this morning after deputies say the officer hit a teenaged inmate who made vulgar comments.
Bradley Kerby was sentenced on two counts of aggravated assault on an incapacitated victim.
The incident happened in May 2017.
According to the sheriff's department, several inmates got into a fight when Officer Kerby intervened. After the fight, one of the teens allegedly made vulgar comments to the officers.

That's when Kerby hit him several times.
Kerby was later fired.
