The U.S. Forest Service, Coronado National Forest, announced that it will soon be hiring seasonal employees and it is encouraging local residents to apply.
The jobs, available starting Feb. 20 through USAjobs.gov, are forestry technician positions "in Recreation and Range," according to a social media post.
Locations include Tucson, Nogales, Douglas, Hereford and Safford.
The positions are in addition to the seasonal fire-hire events already underway, the post said.
