The Pima County Sheriff's Department has confirmed the connection between a man found dead with a gunshot wound and a home invasion nearby in late April.

The incidents happened on the west side of town in the early morning hours of April 25.

Detectives have identified 25-year-old Miguel Ballesteros as the man who was found dead with gunshot wounds in the 3100 block of West Calle Cisne.

Ballesteros is suspected to be one of 4 male suspects from a home invasion that took place earlier that morning in the 2200 block of West Oregon Street.

Blood evidence that was collected at both scenes connected the two incidents.

Detectives are looking for 31-year-old Rene Robles who was an associate of Ballesteros and is believe to have been with him the day of the incidents.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Robles is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
