The annual walk is put on by the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona to raise money for local non-profits and educate the public on what the community food bank does.
The event not only focuses on raising money for local non-profits but to educate the public on what happens inside of the community food bank warehouse.
"That's a great chance to see up close what we're doing against hunger. I think many people are often surprised by the scale of the operation but we serve 200,000 people every year across five counties in Southern Arizona," said Norma Cable, with the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona.
The walk will begin at 8 a.m. at the Kino Sports Complex. Those who'd like to attend can still register here or can register on-site Saturday morning as well.
The walk will begin at the Kino Sports Complex and head roughly a mile and a half to the Community Food Bank where walkers will tour the inside of the warehouse and the garden.
