The Tuesday and Wednesday before Thanksgiving are the busiest days of the year for the food bank.
They plan on giving out food boxes and bags to more than 1,000 people a day Tuesday and Wednesday, which is double what they usually give out.

In order to serve all those who seek help, the food bank is pushing to get as many volunteers as they possibly can.
The food bank is also taking non-perishable food items as well to give to those in need.
