TUCSON, Ariz. — The Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona is asking the community to donate citrus foods.
The event is from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. and drop-off locations are at Rillito Garden Nursery, 6303 N. La Cholla Boulevard or 40 N. Swan Road (at the northeast corner of Broadway and Swan).
The food bank asks for donations to help provide local produce to about 200,000 people in Southern Arizona who may not have access to these foods.
Donated fruits will be given to children families, and seniors in the community.
