TUCSON, Ariz. — Comic-Con is officially underway in Tucson.

Thousands of people are expected to check out the latest in comics and pop culture at the Tucson Convention Center this weekend.

The event welcomes comic book writers, illustrators, cos-players and even WWE superstar Jim Duggan.

"I love Tucson. Came here in the golden days with Hogan," he said. "It's great to come back to a comic-con. It's so much fund. The most entertaining part is the costumes -- movie quality costumes."

Henry Cortez is with Arizona Ghostbusters -- a local costuming fan club that will have a big presence at TCC this weekend dressing up and raising awareness for several local charities.

Tickets are $45 for the weekend, $25 for Saturday and $15 for Sunday. It's open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
