TUCSON, Ariz. — The Cochise County Sheriff's Office is warning residents of a possible scam sent to residents through the mail.
The letter received by multiple people includes property information and a document for the homeowner to sell their property. CCSO says the letters are from the company Candjland, but there are no listings for Cochise County on its website.
The letter also includes the low price that is offered for the land, with no contact information for the author of the letter.
"Please do not become a victim of any scam and if you own property and choose to sell it, don't do it over an unsolicited mailing!" CCSO said in a Facebook post.
