Much like the holiday season — and before we can even take down the Halloween decorations, flu season has already began in Arizona.
Now, Cochise County Health is working with Social Services immunization clinics to host a free flu clinic for adults.
The clinic will be held on Wednesday, November 14 at the Benson Senior Center. Immunizations will be given from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention strongly recommend that everyone six months and older get a flu shot each year. More importantly, those who are at a higher risk of getting the flu are adults 65 years of age or older, pregnant women, and people with medical conditions such as asthma, chronic long disease, and diabetes.
No appointment is needed. Head over to cochise.az.gov for more information.
