PEARCE, AZ — Authorities in Cochise County are investigating two mysterious deaths discovered Thursday morning in Pearce.
State troopers found a pedestrian hit and killed by a car on Highway 191. While at that scene, a woman ran up to officers for help.
She told them she had just found her 58-year-old friend dead in her front yard on a nearby road.
Investigators are treating the deaths as separate cases for now. The sheriff is asking the public to avoid rumors while they search for answers.
