The Cochise County Sheriff's Office was advised of a possible dead body at the Triangle T Ranch east of Benson on Saturday morning.
The caller said there was a body about 300 yards onto his property in the driveway and covered in a sleeping bag.
The caller also told authorities that the body was a man who appeared to be African American or Hispanic.
Deputies and detectives arrived on scene and noted there were no signs of obvious trauma to the body.
After they processed the scene, the body was transported to the Pima County Medical Examiner's Office for the completion of an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
Deputies say there is security camera footage being reviewed by detectives that show a light colored newer model GMC pickup truck that entered the driveway at 11:30 p.m. Friday night, and leaving again after three minutes.
CCSO says the initial investigation shows that the deceased man suffered some type of medical condition while traveling through the area in the GMC pickup truck. Deputies say occupants dumped the person, either alive or dead, and then left the area.
A photographic identification card was located with the body indicating that the man was 36-years-old from Nayaert, Mexico.
Deputies say the Sheriff's Office is working with the Mexican Consulate to ensure next of kin is notified.
CCSO is still investigating at this time.
