TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — Have you heard the news? The circus is in town this month!

The Zoppé Family Circus is welcoming Tucsonans to view its historic show in a COVID-19 safe drive-in format.

Circus sounds will come through your vehicle's stereo, similar to any other drive-in movie theater.

The event runs from Jan. 15 through Jan. 31 at MSA Annex (267 South Avenida del Convento).

The Italy-based Zoppé Family Circus was originally founded in 1842, according to its website. This appearance marks the 10th time that this circus has performed in the Old Pueblo.

"We are on the forefront of providing opportunities for families to break the monotony and experience joy and escape from today’s worries," the event's website says.

Ticket prices range from $49 to $199 per vehicle.
