TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Christmas came early this year for 35 Marana school district students at the El Con Mall.

Students from Roadrunner elementary had the chance to shop until they dropped at the JC Penney and all of it thanks to the Catalina Mountain Elks Lodge.

The lodge donated $140 for each  student for new clothes and new shoes.

The students are nominated by the teachers and staff of the schools.

After the spree, the students got to meet Santa who arrived on a Golder Ranch fire truck with a bag full of toys and school supplies.
